This event replaces the cancelled OBORNS NAUTICAL ESTUARY PENNANTS race 4.

Organised by the Oborns EP management committee formed from representatives of Christchurch Yacht Club, Mt. Pleasant Yacht Club and Pleasant Point Yacht Club.

Notice of Race

1.0 Rules

1.1 The regatta will be governed by the ‘rules’ as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing.

1. 1. The Yachting New Zealand Safety Regulations Part 1 shall apply.

2.0 Eligibility and Entry

1. 1. The regatta is open to all classes.

   2. All entrants must be financial members of a yacht club.

Sunday 18^th March 2012 1300 – 1400hr Registration

(Lyttelton High tide 1415 ~ 2.3m) 1400hr Briefing

1415hr (first warning signal) Race 1

4.0 Sailing Instructions

4.1 The Sailing Instructions will be given at the Briefing.

4.2 There will be separate Junior and Senior starts 5 minutes apart.

5.0 Prizes

All competitors attending the after racing ceremonies at the MPYC clubrooms will be eligible for spot prizes.
